I think you might have hit upon a theme for suggesting code names… I’ve personally experienced things like Disney cartoon characters, star constellations, etc. for server names.
Movie names or characters from movies might be ‘the theme’ behind code names here. I do like the idea of fictional character names like ‘Inigo Montoya’ for major build releases… or Buttercup … perhaps all names and places from The Princes Bride ?
I like the idea of using any 80s reference as a code name for a release. Mix it up.
McFly, Thriller, Autobot, John Conner, Yippee Ki-Yay, and etc.

characters from 80s scifi stories/movies could be a fun theme for release nick names… the unstable/dev could be Biff

It will be called LundukeOS.
A prediction based on the inevitable outcomes of word usage.
Lunduke is the core brand name. It already is. OS is what people call these things…
LCOS looks and sounds like something else… like an immigration application website acronym.
Much rather say and type lunduke.
The name is set.
The Lunduke Computer Operating System.
LCOS for short.
I expect many people will simply use “Lunduke OS” but that won’t be the official name.

Now, if you change this to LCOS here, LundukeOS becomes the OG name which will be added to the reasons why it will be called that in the future =)
But again. Emphasis on prediction. I am okay with it being called absolutely anything.
